NAIROBI CITY
Founded in in 1899 as a centre during the construction of the Mombasa-Kisumu railway, it was called Ewaso Nairobi by the Maasai people meaning 'Stream of Cold Water'. Nairobi served as the provisional capital of the British Colony until it became the capital of British East Africa in 1907.
In 1963, it became the capital city of independent Kenya. It is now the gateway to Eastern, Central and Southern Africa. It has numerous buildings and monuments of historical interest e.g. Jevanjee Gardens, Ainsworth House, Kipande House, The National Archives, Cameo Cinema (built in 1912 as Theatre Royal), Emperor Plaza (which was Aisenue Hotel) and Stanchart Bank Buiding (which was the Torrs hotel).

PLACES TO VISIT IN NAIROBI
NAIROBI NATIONAL PARKIt’s only a few kilometers away from the City Centre. You will have the opportunity to see animals and engage on a Nairobi Safari Walk.

BOMAS OF KENYA
The word Bomas means “Enclosed Homestead ”. This is a cultural centre located only 10 kilometers away from Nairobi and a kilometre away from The Animal Orphanage and Nairobi National Park. A visit here lets one have the opportunity to listen to traditional music accompanied by dance and first class guided tour of the traditional huts within the compound. The tour akes approximately 3 hours and we charge USD 40 per person.

KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM & GIRAFFE CENTRE
Karen Blixen Museum was originally the home of Karen Blixen of Out of Africa Fame. It’s situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills. The tour includes a visit to the Giraffe centre, an educational centre and part of Africa Fund for the endangered wildlife.
The park has a small herd of Rothschild’s Giraffe which are endangered specie. You will also have the opportunity to feed these wonderful animals.We charge USD 50 person and the tour takes 4hrs.

NAIROBI CITY TOUR
This gives one an opportunity to get to understand Nairobi City and see famous spots like The Parliament Buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Centre, The National Museum, The Snake Park, McMillan Memorial Library, The Phoenix, The Kenya National Theatre, Railways Mall and wonderful shopping centre like the Sarit Centre in Westlands, Yaya Centre in Hurlingham and the Village market.
We charge USD 50 per person and the tour takes approximately 4 hrs.

CARNIVORE RESTAURANT
Known as the “Africa Greatest Eating Experience”, in carnivore you will have the opportunity to be served with every type of barbecue and game meat of your choice for you lunches and dinner.
We charge USD 50 per person and should be a remarkable taste of dishes in Kenya; the tour takes 3 hours or so with provision of extensions at night depending with the action at Carnivore and the client’s preference.
Other locations for short excursions in Nairobi include: Mamba Village, David Shedrick Animal Orphanage, Kenya Railways Museum and The Arboretum.

TRIP TO LAKE NAKURU LODGE
The safari starts early in the morning and you will have the opportunity to drive on the floors of the Rift Valley.Wonderfull view of escarpment along will be a sure experience along the way. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru in the morning hours and have a game drive within the park, have your lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge after that you have the opportunity to proceed for game drive and leave for Nairobi.
We charge USD 290 per person and we do accept a minimum of two persons for the journey. The safari takes approximately twelve hours.
